개인정보처리방침
주식회사 위누(이하 "회사")는 A's SAT Words(이하 "서비스")를 운영하며 「개인정보 보호법」 등 관련 법령을 지킵니다. 이 방침은 회사가 어떤 개인정보를 왜 처리하고 어떻게 보호하는지 알려 드립니다.
1. 처리 목적
- 회원 가입, 로그인, 본인 확인과 계정 관리
- 학습 기록 저장과 기기 간 동기화, 부모 리포트 제공
- 이용권 부여·연장·회수, 44일 완주 약속 판정
- 결제 확인, 환불 처리, 법령에 따른 거래 기록 보관
- 문의 응대와 서비스 관련 필수 안내
회사는 광고·마케팅 목적으로 개인정보를 이용하지 않습니다.
2. 처리 항목

카드 번호 등 결제 수단 정보는 Paddle이 직접 받아 처리하며, 회사는 받거나 보관하지 않습니다.
3. 보유 기간
- 계정과 학습 기록: 회원 탈퇴(계정 삭제 요청) 시까지
- 다음 정보는 법령에 따라 탈퇴 후에도 정해진 기간 동안 보관합니다.
- 계약 또는 청약철회에 관한 기록, 대금 결제와 재화 공급에 관한 기록: 5년 (전자상거래법)
- 소비자 불만 또는 분쟁 처리에 관한 기록: 3년 (전자상거래법)
- 웹사이트 접속 기록: 3개월 (통신비밀보호법)
4. 제3자 제공
회사는 회원의 개인정보를 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다. 다만 법령에 근거가 있거나 수사기관이 법령에 따른 절차로 요청하는 경우에는 예외로 합니다.
결제는 판매 대행사인 Paddle이 판매자(Merchant of Record)로서 처리합니다. 결제창에서 회원이 입력하는 정보는 Paddle이 직접 수집하며 Paddle 개인정보처리방침이 적용됩니다. 회사는 결제와 이용권을 연결하기 위해 회원 식별자(무작위 ID)만 결제 요청에 포함합니다.
5. 처리 위탁과 국외 이전
회사는 서비스 운영을 위해 다음 업체에 개인정보 처리를 맡기며, 이 과정에서 개인정보가 국외로 이전됩니다. 이전은 서비스 이용 시 암호화된 네트워크(HTTPS)를 통해 수시로 이루어집니다.

위 이전은 서비스 제공에 꼭 필요하므로, 거부하시면 서비스를 이용할 수 없습니다. 이전을 원하지 않으시면 계정 삭제를 요청해 주세요.
6. 파기
보유 기간이 끝나거나 처리 목적을 달성한 개인정보는 지체 없이 복구할 수 없는 방법으로 삭제합니다. 법령에 따라 보관해야 하는 정보는 다른 정보와 분리해 보관하고, 기간이 끝나면 삭제합니다.
7. 정보주체의 권리
회원과 법정대리인은 언제든지 개인정보의 열람, 정정, 삭제, 처리 정지를 요청할 수 있습니다. admin@weenu.com으로 계정 이메일에서 요청하시면 본인 확인 후 10일 이내에 처리하고 결과를 알려 드립니다. 대리인을 통해 요청하실 수도 있으며, 이 경우 위임 사실을 확인합니다.
8. 아동의 개인정보
서비스 계정은 학생의 부모 또는 법정대리인인 성인만 만들 수 있습니다. 학생은 부모의 계정으로 학습하며, 회사는 만 14세 미만 아동에게서 직접 개인정보를 수집하지 않습니다. 학생 이름 입력은 선택이며 부모만 입력할 수 있습니다. 만 14세 미만 아동이 직접 가입한 사실을 알게 되면 해당 계정을 삭제합니다.
9. 자동 수집 장치
- 서비스는 로그인 상태 유지와 학습 기록 저장을 위해 브라우저의 로컬 저장소(localStorage)를 사용합니다. 이 정보는 회원의 기기에 저장되며, 브라우저 설정에서 지울 수 있습니다. 지우면 로그아웃되고, 동기화되지 않은 학습 기록이 사라질 수 있습니다.
- 로그인하지 않고 무료 체험(1~3유닛)을 이용하는 경우, 학습 기록은 그 기기의 브라우저에만 저장되며 회사 서버로 전송되지 않습니다. 이후 같은 기기에서 로그인하면 체험 중 학습 기록이 회원 계정으로 옮겨집니다.
- 회사는 광고 쿠키나 행태 분석 도구를 사용하지 않습니다.
- 결제창을 열면 Paddle이 결제 처리를 위해 자체 쿠키를 사용할 수 있습니다.
10. 안전성 확보 조치
- 모든 통신을 HTTPS로 암호화합니다.
- 데이터베이스의 행 수준 보안(RLS)으로 회원이 자기 기록만 읽고 쓸 수 있게 하며, 이용권 기록은 서버만 변경할 수 있습니다.
- 비밀번호를 쓰지 않는 이메일 링크 로그인을 사용해 비밀번호 유출 위험을 없앴습니다.
- 결제 알림은 서명을 검증한 뒤에만 처리합니다.
- 관리자 접근 권한을 최소한으로 제한합니다.

13. 방침의 변경
이 방침이 바뀌면 시행 7일 전부터 이 페이지에 알립니다. 회원의 권리에 중요한 변경은 30일 전에 알리고 이메일로도 안내합니다.
Privacy Policy
Weenu Co., Ltd. ("we") runs A's SAT Words (the "Service"). This policy explains what personal information we process, why, and how we protect it. If the Korean and English versions differ, the Korean version prevails to the extent permitted by the law of your country.
What we collect
- Account: email address, a random user ID, sign-up and sign-in times.
- Learning record: study and review status for each word, daily study counts and correct answers, study settings.
- Optional: the student's first name and the 4-digit parent PIN, if a parent enters them.
- Access and payments: access start and end dates, transaction ID, product, amount and currency, payment status, and the payment notifications Paddle sends us.
- Technical: IP address, browser and device information, access times and error logs.
We never receive or store card numbers or other payment details. Paddle collects those directly.
Why we use it
To sign you in, save and sync learning progress, show the parent report, grant or remove paid access, decide the 44-day promise, handle payments and refunds, keep records the law requires, and answer your questions. We do not use your information for advertising.
How long we keep it
Account and learning data are kept until you ask us to delete your account. Korean law requires us to keep contract, cancellation and payment records for 5 years, complaint and dispute records for 3 years, and website access logs for 3 months.
Sharing
We do not sell or share your information with third parties, except where the law requires it. Paddle, as Merchant of Record, collects checkout details directly under the Paddle Privacy Policy; we pass Paddle only your random user ID so the purchase can be linked to your account.
Service providers and international transfers
We use these providers, which may process your information outside your country. Transfers happen over encrypted connections whenever you use the Service.
- Supabase, Inc. (USA; data stored in Seoul, Korea on AWS): database, sign-in and server functions.
- Cloudflare, Inc. (USA): website delivery and security.
- Plus Five Five, Inc. (Resend) (USA; sending servers in Japan): sign-in emails.
- Google LLC (USA) and jsDelivr (global CDN): web fonts and public scripts, which receive your IP address and browser information.
These transfers are necessary to provide the Service. If you do not want them, you can ask us to delete your account.
Your rights
You or your legal representative can ask to see, correct, delete or stop the processing of your information at any time. Email admin@weenu.com from your account email and we will respond within 10 days after confirming it is you. You may also have rights under the law of your country, such as the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Only an adult parent or legal guardian can create an account. The student studies on the parent's account, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 14 (or under 13 in the United States). The student's first name is optional and can only be entered by the parent. If we learn a child created an account directly, we delete it.
Browser storage and cookies
The Service uses your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to save learning progress on your device. You can clear it in your browser settings, which signs you out and may remove progress that has not synced. If you try the free units without signing in, your progress stays in that browser only and is not sent to us; if you later sign in on the same device, it moves to your account. We do not use advertising cookies or behavioral analytics. Paddle may set its own cookies when you open the checkout.
Security
All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Row-level security lets each account read and write only its own records, and only our server can change access records. Sign-in uses email links instead of passwords. Payment notifications are processed only after their signature is verified. Administrative access is kept to a minimum.
